One of the things I've discovered that I really enjoy about cross stitch designing is putting together kits. Who knew?
I usually try to do them in batches, and I find it very meditative to lay everything out, then stroll around the studio picking up the threads. I like the feel of the floss and of course, the colors make me happy.
Then when I'm done, I've got a nice bin full of kits ready to go! The latest trip around the room was for the Sweater Weather pattern.
I'm thrilled that you have liked the new Stitch & Sew Kits I put together for this design! So there will definitely be more of these kinds of kits coming. I've got lots (and lots) of ideas for other types of projects. So get ready!
I'm Robin, the designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
