My knitting mojo has come back a little stronger this year. (I think it actually got a kickstart when I re-arranged my sewing room and moved all my yarn and knitting things in there. Looking at and arranging all my yarn really made me want to knit it!)
That said, I've almost always had a pair of socks on the needles. That's been true for a good many years now. How often they get worked on...that varies. For most of this year, for a change, I've pretty much knit daily. I've already made 3 pairs of socks, finished a scarf/shawl and cast on another one.

This is a new scarf I started for Jimmy -

This is a simple 2 stripe scarf in some of my treasured old Arbor Fingering yarn. Still an incredibly fabulous BFL woolen-spun yarn that I love. (Back in the day when I was still hand dyeing yarn, I was crushed when my distributor discontinued this base.)
I knit this stole in this yarn and it's one of my warmest wraps I own:

I am thinking about casting on another Hitofude for myself. It's one of my most worn sweaters. Not too warm, not too light, always just right. If I did, I would make the sleeves at least one repeat, maybe two, longer. Which is funny, since in my blog post I talked about how much I liked the sleeve length. Of course, that was then and I'm a bit older now and tend to be colder more of the time. We shall see :) Not sure about a color yet...
This is my first one pictured below:

I also need to make both of us a new pair of mittens. They tend to get a lot of abuse through the winter months and start to look pretty mangy.
That ought to be enough to keep me busy through the winter months!

Wow you are a very accomplished knitter! Love your cardigan and the wrap/shawl. What an intricate edge.
When you knit socks do you use the magic loop method or 5 needles? I have been thinking about trying the magic loop method because I am fed up with loosing a needle when I take my knitting somewhere and come home with one less than I left the house with.
