I usually (not always) tend to think seasonally when it comes to colors for the Sock Club and the Fiber Club. And especially in the summer, when all I want to think about and see are light, soft colors. Colors that are cool. Quiet. Relaxing.
So it's not so very surprising that during one of the hottest summers I can remember, I'm craving super soft and subtle colors. And July's colorway, Seashells, is a terrific example.
I actually "borrowed" this colorway from the Fiber Club, from a couple of years ago. I had always wanted to translate it to yarn, and this seemed like the perfect time to do it. And I have to say, I'm thrilled with how it turned out. Especially on the super soft, silky Linden Sock base. Yum!
So, if you're in the mood for a delicate touch of color, this just might do it.

I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
