Odds and Ends is a sweet little trio of sewing accessories that includes a plump round pincushion, with an optional back pocket, a scissor fob and a threadkeep.
I'm a bit of a sucker for anything sewing related, so this was right up my alley! This set was originally designed for The Silver Needle and their A Little Help from Our Friends Stitching Circle in 2024. You can find out more about their Circle here.
And now it's available to everyone! The pattern includes templates and finishing instructions, so you can finish yours just like the models.

Since the pattern was first designed, it's become a bit harder to find the mother-of-pearl thread rings that I used on the threadkeep. So I've found a few options and alternatives:
Anita's Little Stitches - A great selection of thread rings of all kinds, including mother-of-pearl (in lots of shapes) and acrylic.
Farmhouse Fabrics - A selection of different colors of mother-of-pearl.
A Stitch in Time (Australia) - A selection of different shapes in mother-of-pearl. Kerrilyn also ships to the US.
You can also try Etsy, which may or may not know what "thread rings" are :) I did find some beautiful hexagon shaped stitch markers for knitting, that I think would work wonderfully. And the price is great. Searching for 'large stitch markers' does bring up some good options.
You can also use plastic or wood cabone rings or jump rings. Again, I would try Etsy for these. If you want to be close to 3/4" in size, search for 19mm rings.

I'm Robin, the designer behind October House. You've found my journal, where I talk about stitching, sewing and anything else that might catch my fancy!
