I admit I've been in a bit of a green mood lately. Over the summer as we re-did our Studio (where my husband and I now work together, and spend most of our time during the weekday) that meant moving my sewing stuff out of the studio and creating my own sewing room in what used to be the guest bedroom. (We moved the guest bedroom into the middle room and it became a library/guest room.)
As I was slowly and steadily trooping fabric (and more fabric) back there, I was thinking about the colors and decorations. It's a corner room and gets wonderful light from two windows, and you see a lot of green as you look outside. So I just went with the colors I saw outside of the windows...greens and browns. (We nicknamed the room "The Treehouse".)
I know this design sprung more or less out of the decorating of that little sewing room! And it would fit perfectly on my little green shelf :)
