I'm excited to introduce our newest yarn, Everlasting Sock!
I've been on the lookout for a sock yarn with mohair in it for a while now. For years, Jimmy's favorite socks have been the ones I've made out of Mountain Colors Bearfoot, which is a wool/nylon/mohair blend. They have a nice tiny halo to them and they last forever.
So when I came across this yarn base, a merino/nylon/mohair blend, I jumped on it. And after testing it out, dyeing it up and wearing it, I can tell you that it is indeed Everlasting Sock yarn:)
It takes the dye beautifully due to the mohair content, which adds a depth to the color as well as strength and durability. It has 4 plies for a nice, round yarn and great stitch definition.
It's a great blend for socks (I'm working on a pair for myself, pictured above)...but also for shawls, mitts, sweaters and hats.
