December 31, 2018
I'm spending today wrapping up 2018 and getting ready for a great year in 2019. I'm ready to flip the calendar page and head into a new year...how about you?
We spend the last part of 2017 and most of 2018 dealing with health issues. First me, then Jimmy. But we are both feeling full of good health as we get ready for the new year, and that is a great feeling indeed!
I personally love January. It always feels like a quiet month, yet full of possibility. I'm trying out a bullet journal this year, so we'll see how that goes.
For the past few years, my sketchbook has semi-morphed into a journal/planner/idea holder, so I'd like to move all that into the bullet journal and get the sketchbook back to just fun stuff - no rules, no plans - just drawing & painting.
I'll be casting on a new sweater for New Year's Day, and doing a little bit of cross stitching. We'll take our annual hike, and begin our new Bible study. So let's go!
I'm Robin, the designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.
