Here is our second annual Bonne Annee ornament...it's looking like this will definitely be an annual tradition.
I'm kind of a sucker for traditions and sentimental stuff. I always love seeing trees decked with family heirlooms, like the kids ornaments they made every year in school, or a favorite aunt's handmade sequined balls, or best of all...a treasured collection of hand stitched ornaments!
This year's version is a nod to some of my own favorite ornaments on our tree. We have several German handblown ornaments that are in sections - like a three drop bauble or a santa over a dangling heart. I love those.

I hope you enjoy stitching it as much as I did!

Delightful design! Thank you so much for sharing your talent.
I'm Robin, the designer behind October House. You've found my blog, where I ramble on about stitching and sewing and anything else that catches my fancy!
I love quiet colors, gentle stitches and making things by hand.

Thank you for a beautiful freebie design. What a gentle and relaxing way for me to begin the year stitching.
